Hxaosanto is a chaos magickian, philosopher, dreamer, and do-er. He currently lives in Tucson, Arizona.
"Hxaosanto" is an Esperanto word meaning "one who is chaotic". "Hxaos-" is chaos. "-ant-" is a suffix meaning "one who is actively doing that which is specified by the root". And "-o" is the suffix for a noun. Hence "Hxaosanto". It is spelled "Hxaosanto" because some browsers and other pieces of software don't understand Unicode, and the "letter+x", or "x method", is an accepted way of showing Esperanto's accented letters in standard online text.
He believes that conscious beings can affect the universe around them not only via physical acts, but also via directing their energies and Will towards a specific goal or task. He attributes this ability to the interaction between a sentient being's Will and the quantum foam which underlies, supports, creates, and destroys the universe.
He is a licensed minister of the Universal Life Church (date of ordination: 8/23/2005) and can perform legally-recognized ceremonies such as baptisms, weddings, and funerals, as well as more personal ceremonies and rituals such as coming-of-age, reaffirmation of love, or whatever sort of ceremony one may want. From March until May 2006, he trained in aikido. He found that he should have gotten back into martial arts a long time ago, and has plans to train in aikido and other arts in the future. From July until December 2006, he will be attending a yoga teacher training program.
His philosophical beliefs center on egalitarianism, ecological understanding and sustainability, freedom of belief, freedom of action, and mutual cooperation.
He is currently trying to form the Monastery of Chaos in the Desert.
